1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ShowNxt ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms on your behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

ShowNxt is a college soccer recruiting marketplace that connects student-athletes with college coaching programs. Coaches post roster openings, and athletes apply with structured profiles. ShowNxt facilitates introductions but does not guarantee admission, roster placement, or scholarship offers.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users between 13 and 17 must have parental or guardian consent. By creating an account for a minor, the parent or guardian accepts these terms and assumes responsibility for the minor's use of the Platform.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update your information as needed. You may not impersonate another person, create multiple accounts, or share your account credentials.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Submit false or misleading profile information, academic records, or athletic credentials
Harass, threaten, or send unsolicited messages to other users
Use the Platform for any purpose unrelated to college athletic recruiting
Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data
Scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract data from the Platform
Upload malicious content, spam, or inappropriate material

6. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, videos, profile information). By uploading content, you grant ShowNxt a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the Platform for recruiting purposes. You may delete your content at any time by updating your profile or deleting your account.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact lucas@shownxt.com for billing inquiries.

8. NCAA and Recruiting Compliance

ShowNxt is a communication platform and does not act as an agent, recruiter, or advisor. Users are solely responsible for ensuring their use of the Platform complies with NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, or other applicable governing body rules. ShowNxt does not provide compliance advice.

9. Termination

ShowNxt may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your profile data will be removed from public view. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ShowNxt does not guarantee the accuracy of user-provided information, including academic records, athletic statistics, or coaching credentials. ShowNxt is not responsible for decisions made by coaches or athletes based on information exchanged through the Platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShowNxt's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to ShowNxt in the 12 months preceding the claim. ShowNxt is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
